Our Story
Derash Patvic Welding Academy Limited (DPWAL) is a 100% indigenous Nigerian company incorporated in 2005 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Named after its two founding directors — Derek C. Isu and Victor Omofurieta — the academy was founded on the belief that Nigeria's oil and gas industry deserved a world-class indigenous training and fabrication partner.
Over two decades, DPWAL has grown into a fully integrated oil and gas services company — delivering welding training, pipeline construction, fabrication, equipment procurement, and manpower supply to major operators across the Niger Delta and beyond.
Certified by the American Welding Society (AWS) and recognised by the Nigerian Institute of Welding, DPWAL operates in strict compliance with NCDMB local content policies, contributing to the sustainable development of Nigeria's energy sector workforce.
